Upon your arrival at Leh airport, our representative from Kashmir Boulevard will be there to greet you. They will assist you and transfer you to the hotel. Complete a seamless check-in process and spend the day relaxing, acclimatizing to the high altitudes of Leh Ladakh. If your health permits, consider visiting Leh Palace, Leh Market, and Shantideva Stupa in the evening. Enjoy dinner at the hotel and have a restful night for an exciting day tomorrow.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour of the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers at Sangam. Drive along the Indus river to Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill, where cars seem to defy gravity. Continue to the Leh Hall of Fame, housing a museum of Kargil War memorabilia. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at a hotel in Leh.
Following an early breakfast, set out towards Nubra Valley, which is 135 km from Leh. En route, traverse the world’s highest motorable road, Khardong La (17,982 ft). Reach Nubra Valley by late noon, check into the hotel or camp, and later in the afternoon, venture out for a double-humped camel ride to explore the white dunes of Hunder village. Witness the mesmerizing beauty of the valley and return to the hotel or camp for a delightful dinner. Overnight stays will be in Nubra Valley at the camp.
After breakfast, drive to Turtuk, a place annexed by India after the 1971 war. Turtuk is one of India’s only Balti villages, located near the LOC. Explore the village, which still retains a Pakistani resemblance with traditional stone-crafted utensils. Enjoy the views of the Shyok Valley and, on a clear day, catch a glimpse of the K2 mountain peak in Pakistan. Visit the gompas and the old royal house in the village. Return to Hundar by evening, making Nubra your overnight stop.
After an early breakfast, head towards Pangong Lake (Pangong Tso) at an elevation of 4350 meters in the Changthang region. The lake, bisected by the international border between India and China, showcases brilliant variations, including deep blue and turquoise. Dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel or camp.
Following breakfast, travel back from Pangong to Leh. Take a short halt at Changla Pass to savor a cup of hot tea. Visit the Rancho School, Thiksey Monasteries, and Shey Palace en route. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at the hotel in Leh.
Early the next morning, you will be transferred to Leh airport to board the flight back to your destination. The journey concludes, leaving you with sweet memories of Ladakh.
